This graphic is a new symbol for the
Rocky
Mountain Synod:
• the various “peaks” represent the Rocky Mountains
• a cross with southwest styling radiates the Light of Christ,
shining into the world
• the message of the Gospel is proclaimed to the north, south,
east, and west, represented by the cross’s reach to all directions
of the synod’s large geographic area and into all the corners
of the earth
• we proclaim Christ, crucified and risen, represented by the cross
and the sun, superimposed over the “chi,” the Greek “X,” which
is a monogram for Christyou are invited and encouraged
to use these graphics on your web site, linking to www.rmselca.org
