When you open up your
browser, such as Internet Explorer or Netscape, it automatically calls up a
"default" home page. It is the first screen you see when the internet connection
is established. Consider making www.rmselca.org
the "home page" on your church office computer.
How do I do that? Depending on
the version of your software, follow these (or similar) instructions:
WINDOWS: Internet Explorer: Pull down the TOOLS menu and click on INTERNET
OPTIONS. On the GENERAL tab, note the place for "home page" at the top.
Type in: http://www.rmselca.org/
Netscape: Pull down the
EDIT menu and click on PREFERENCES. The NAVIGATOR oage will likely open up and
in the section for "home page" type in:
http://www.rmselca.org/.
MAC: Internet Explorer OS X: Pull down the EXPLORER menu and click on
PREFERENCES. On WEB BROWSER: BROWSER DISPLAY note the place for "home
page.". Type in:
http://www.rmselca.org/
Internet Explorer OS 9: Pull down the EDIT menu and click on
PREFERENCES. On WEB BROWSER: BROWSER DISPLAY note the place for "home
page.". Type in:
http://www.rmselca.org/
Netscape: You're on your own! Likely
similar to Netscape for Windows above.
