Prayer
After Epiphany
Perfect Light of revelation, as you
shone in the life of Jesus, whose epiphany we celebrate, so
shine in us and through us, that we may become beacons of truth
and compassion, enlightening all creation with deeds of
justice and mercy. Amen

"Testamonial" about the ELW Introduction
events.... "I want to thank you and your team for your time and
efforts in presenting the new ELW hymnal to us. I attended the event as
the office manager and the one responsible for putting our weekly bulletin
together so I could become familiar with the layout of the new hymnal.
Your team did a very nice job of explaining and showcasing the different
parts of the hymnal. It was time well spent. I would highly recommend this
seminar to anyone, not just worship planners or music
people."

Organ and Brass
Concert On Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 7:30 pm Augustana Arts
presents a stunning concert of organ and brass with organist, Cindy
Lindeen-Martin, and the spectacular, locally-based, professional ensemble,
The Denver Brass. The Denver Brass features a sound experience that is at
once inspiring and exhilarating, powerful and elegant. Combine this with
the various colors, strength and majesty of the organ and Cindy’s
impeccably artistic playing – it makes for an exciting and unique pairing
of “pipes and brass”. Most of the evening is dedicated to this
collaboration with a few solo opportunities for both ensembles. Among
music featured will be an incredible transcription of the famous Camille
Saint- Saens “Symphony No. 3 (often nicknamed “Organ Symphony”), the
powerful “Solemn Entry” of Richard Strauss, and the intimate strains of
Albinoni’s “Adagio”. This is one concert you will not want to
miss!

Church Music Resource The Church Copyright License is the
most comprehensive church music license of its kind. It includes the works
of 2,500 songwriters and publishers, allowing a church to legally copy
from over 150,000 songs for congregational use. So, whether you worship
services include primarily traditional songs, contemporary songs or a
blend of both, the Church Copyright License covers the songs you want to
sing.
The fee for this license is based upon regular church
attendance. Most of the fee is returned to the songwriters and publishers
in the form of royalties. For more information, visit the website at www.ccli.com. Note:
Augsburg Fortress is not covered under the CCLI license.
Read Through the Bible in One Year If you have ever wanted to
read through the Bible but didn't know where or how to begin, here is a resource
that may help you to begin. You may start this program at any time
during the year. Starting with week one, though, will allow you to finish
one year later. Make it a New Year's resolution to begin today.
