Easter Sunday
Through the resurrection of your Son, O God, you
destroy the power of death and remove your people's
shame. By the power of the Spirit, raise us from sin
and seat us at the paschal feast, that we may rejoice
in the gift of salvation Jesus has won for us.
Amen

First Lutheran
Church International Falls,
MN |
The Generosity of the Lutheran
Family
Shelly Ostlund, Office Administrator at First
Lutheran Church in International Falls, Minnesota,
recently made it known that from time to time one of
their Church Council members makes one or more of his
several condos available for use by any ELCA
staff or member. There is no charge associated
with these offers. You would be able to stay the
entire week or just a portion of it. Here are
examples of the kinds of offers that might be
made:
1.
The
Skier's Lodge in Park City, UT, one bedroom unit that
sleeps 4.
2.
Maui,
Hawaii,
one bedroom unit that sleeps 4.
Any condo being offered will only
be available on a short-notice basis, so it may
not be possible to publish the offers too far in
advance. Shelly usually knows by Wednesday or
Thursday of the week that they are available and she
does her best to email the notices out as soon as
possible. Remember that any ELCA staff may use
these, so you will need to act fast once the
information is
published. The editors of the
Rocky Mountain Synod's eConnection and Leadership
Connection newsletters will try to keep our readers
informed of these very generous offers whenever they
are presented. Stay
tuned!
