heaven. Amen

Confirmation Workshop Coming August 25 Glory of
God Lutheran Church, 12200 West 38th Ave in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, is
partnering with Faith Inkubators of Stillwater, Minnesota, to host area
churches for a day-long training event on Head to the Heart confirmation
system.
This training event will explore the theology, philosophy,
techniques, structure, and resources supporting this parent-involved,
arts-based large group/small group model.
For over fifteen years,
Faith Inkubators has studied the physiology of the human brain, the power
of small group ministries, the practices of the best Bible Camps, and the
revolutionary thinking of the brightest pastors, educators and business
leaders in the country. They have focused their efforts on creating,
incubating and implementing Christian education systems (not just
curriculum) with a goal of encouraging life-long faith formation at church
and at home this is meaningful and a whole lot of fun.
Glory of God
Lutheran Church currently uses the Head to the Heart confirmation system
and has been recognized by Faith Inkubators as a church that is using it
well. If you'd like to find out more about the confirmation program at
this church or just explore the latest in effective and faithful youth
ministry, join us on Saturday, August 25, 2007 from 9 am - 3 pm. For more

Experience
Life in a Chinese Village this October From October 4 thru 20,
"Friends of China Service Ventures" will travel to Henan Province, China,
to visit their work projects in the Xinyang area. This is an excellent
opportunity to experience first-hand the many projects China Service
Ventures is involved with in rural Henan and, at the same time, visit some
of the most amazing historical and cultural sites China has to offer. What
makes a Friends Visitation so unique is that you can see, smell, taste,
hear, feel, and learn what it means to live outside a major business
center like Beijing and experience life lived in villages, some with no
more than 2,000 people. China Service Ventures wants you to encounter a
countryside hospital, school, Church, and the children they support. They
want you, your friends, and your congregation to understand the needs of
those living in China's rural areas and work together with China Service
Ventures to make a difference in the lives of rural people.
For
more information on the October 4-20, 2007 "Friends of China Service
Ventures Visitation", please contact Pastor Steven Ray at 1.877.408.7056
(toll free) or 253.851.7643 or email steverayCSV@aol.com . Also, go
to the China Service Ventures website, www.csventures.org,
to get more information about other projects of the
organization.
