Domestic Hunger Grant Application Process
October 1 is the deadline for submitting all completed applications: electronic submissions due, and any required hard copies are postmarked by this date.

2008 Domestic Hunger Grant Recipients

In 2008, the ELCA World Hunger Appeal funded 329 domestic hunger grants.  
The Rocky Mountain Synod received 15 of those grants!

•  La Puente Home ($2,000)  Alamosa, Colorado – Homeless Services Program

•  Interfaith of Natrona County ($2,000) Casper, Wyoming — Emergency Assistance
•  Colorado Springs Ecumenical Social Ministries ($1,600) Colorado Springs, Colorado — Food Pantry
•  Our Merciful Savior Ministries ($1,800) Denver, Colorado — Community Healthcare Initiative
•  COMPA Food Bank Ministry ($2,800) Denver, Colorado  – Project Glean
•  Housing Justice ($2,200) Denver, Colorado – Aurora Warms the Night
•  Denver Urban Ministries ($1,800) — Feeds the Hungry
