Theological education doesn't end with graduation ceremonies at our seminaries. Rather, theological education is a process of lifelong learning which addresses ministry in our changing community and societal contexts.
Leaders in the Rocky Mountain Synod are renewed and energized through regular experiences of education throughout their years of ministry. A continuing education allowance is a normative component of a church leaders' compensation package.
Continuing education experiences take many forms: online courses, spiritual retreats, area study groups, and regional or national conferences.
Most rostered leaders in the Rocky Mountain Synod participate in the annual Theological Conference, which takes place in late January.
