Fall Theological Conference
2012
September 24-25, 2012
Embassy Suites South Denver
Denver, CO
Conference Theme: Transitions
For the Rocky Mountain Synod, this is a profound time of transitions. As we install a new bishop, we begin a new chapter in mission and ministry, honest about the reality that transitions can be difficult, unsettling, and challenging.
We gather together at the first start of Jim Gonia's term as bishop to tell stories, learn about one another, and share in conversation about visions and dreams.
Specifically, we will consider the ways that transitions are healthy or unhealthy, and how to be our best as leaders in times of change and challenge.

Theological Conference Purpose
The purpose of the annual Rocky Mountain Synod Theological Conference is to provide leaders the opportunity to gather from across the vast distances of the synod for worship, theological reflection, fellowship, networking, and spiritual renewal. Rostered leaders (pastors, diaconal ministers, and associates in ministry) and other leaders (seminarians, youth directors, camp staff, musicians, administrators, etc) are all encouraged to attend.
