FRIENDS DDD
One of the gifts of the Reformation is everyone's opinions about Jesus
and life are valued. Where would the Protestant Church
be today if the Priesthood of All Believers, Communion of Saints, Body
of Christ were squelched? Indeed, the history of the Church is repleat
with "diets, discussions and debates." As Lutherans, we believe that
open theological discussion is a gift of God and our lifeblood for
renewal. Furthermore, open debate and sharing of opinion are avenues for
birthing peace, justice and nonviolence.
Hence, you are invited to become part of the NVRT "Friends DDD" (Diets,
Discussion, Debates)
The NVRT has a FRIENDS DDD dedicated to facilitating communication and
concerns about issues
that touch our faith and life.
FRIENDS DDD reminds us we are not alone in our Christian journeys.
Receive commentary and articles from other Friends on issues relating to
peace, justice and nonviolence.
Also, feel welcome to write your own opinions, advocate for your point
of view, and have them circulated to other Friends, unedited.
To sign up and be part of the FRIENDS DDD, send your name and e-mail
address to Kathy at: oslc915@juno.com
