To acknowledge women that have Acted Boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ and willingly shared their God given talents and gifts.
A program called Women of Witness (formerly the Lydia, Woman of Faith
Award) was created to award outstanding women for their fine service to the Women of the ELCA.
If
you know a woman who fits this category and would like to recognize her, contact
our President, Yvonne Page: . Make
it part of your women's retreats to recognize a Women of Witness and of Faith! When
nominating a Woman of Witness, please feel free to share some of the services she has
performed and/or gifts, talents and skills, she has shared or responsibilities she has completed throughout her church, cluster, conference, synod,
church-wide, and the world community in general.
