Letting the Spirit Loose: The Wonder of Retreats
A how-to workshop on retreats. We will walk through the basics of pulling
together a retreat for women: seeking the Spirit's direction, places,
people, ideas, shoulds and shouldn'ts, fun, laughter, and fellowship. Our
hope is that you will leave ready to be bound closer together with your sisters
in Christ, which truly is a wonder.
The Joy of Grace: Basics of Lutheranism
Grace is central to Lutheranism, but how can we begin to grasp the joy of this
grace in our day to day lives? By looking at the basic tenants of our
Lutheran faith, the scriptures and a little about Luther we hope you will be
ready to walk with renewed joy in Christ. Believe us, this puts
Confirmation to shame! This is most certainly true!

"The Fires inside the Walls”
(One session only, Saturday morning)

passion for including younger women as well as youth in your church in the
mission of the Women of the ELCA. Joining with young women in spreading the Good
News of God’s love for everyone can be a challenge but it is do able. What
does it take to connect and engage young and new women into women’s ministry?
Developing a knowledge of the "Adults saving Kids "Leadership training
,becoming a strong advocate of the "Lifesaver Prayer Project" for
congregations and the "Wise as Serpents" curriculum for confirmation
age students might be part of the answer.
