Sometimes you just don't know what's the best thing to do in a given situation. Have you ever had that feeling when relating to or as a person with a disability? The Deaf culture? A person using a service dog? When speaking with someone in a wheelchair? Then you'll want to check out the cross-cultural etiquette tips posted monthly to the churchwide ELCA web site.
Go to http://www.womenoftheelca.org/whatwedo/etiquette.html for tips and come back monthly to see what's new.

Many congregations don't have a "computer geek" who has come forward and volunteered to create a website from scratch. Fortunately, there are some easier options. Two to consider are companies that have a package deal. The cost is about $20 a month. They will register your domain name, host the site, and provide their own web-based templates for building the site.
Take a look at www.homestead.com and at www.e-zekiel.com . The E-zekiel one is more of a church-related company that has many templates that are "religious" (though not particularly "liturgical" in their design). The Homestead site will give you more flexibility to design
the site the way you want it, but still using a web-based interface. Therefore, you don't have to buy a program like FrontPage to update the site. Anyone can do it from his or her computer.
