Creation Care Team

We are a self-organizing committee of the Rocky Mountain Synod of the ELCA whose main focus is on changing how people treat the Earth, from being consumers to advocates, realizing that we are part of creation and what we do to the Earth we do to ourselves. Our mission is for congregations to become Creation Awareness Centers, for creation to be emphasized throughout the Church Year, and to help the ELCA develop resources that celebrate God's creation so that all expressions of the ELCA will seek to incorporate the principles of sufficiency and sustainability. We welcome whomever would like to join us anytime. We almost always meet the second Saturday of the month at 10am.
