The Director of Faith Formation is responsible for developing and facilitating the Faith Formation Ministry at Nativity. Relationships, and relationship development, are the base of Faith Formation. Upon that base, there are three parts to this job description: knowledge-based faith formation, service-oriented faith formation, and leadership development.

The Director of Faith Formation will also regularly attend and participate in Sunday morning worship and attend fellowship, as this is the main gathering of the community of faith.

This position works closely with the Pastor, Office Administrator, and some congregational committees, teams, and liaisons to engage in this work. This position reports to and is supervised by the Pastor. The Pastor, in consultation with the Council, will develop priorities for this position.
