Portico Town Hall: Understanding 2027 Health Benefit Rate Increases

Rostered ministers and congregational leaders are invited to a Portico Town Hall hosted by the Rocky Mountain Synod with Portico Representative Andrea Arey.
Portico has announced a 15% base rate increase for its health benefit plans in 2027. We know this significant increase raises important questions and concerns for rostered ministers, congregations, and other sponsoring organizations.
This Town Hall will provide an opportunity to learn more about what is driving the increase, what Portico is doing to address rising health care costs, and what this means for congregations and plan members in 2027. There will also be time for questions and conversation.
We encourage rostered ministers, council members, treasurers, and other congregational leaders involved in budgeting and benefits decisions to attend.
