We are a congregation with a lot of potential. We are looking for someone who will help mine, equip, energize and lead what already exists within our congregation. We need someone to, ultimately, be our rudder (though, at first, we may need a motor). We recognize the need for our congregation to undertake some goal setting and acknowledge that we have been on the treadmill of existing. We look forward to calling a new partner in ministry to help us realize our potential, get off the treadmill and run the race, as we continue to grow, live and share our faith in Grand Junction.
Zion seeks a part-time pastor to provide engaging worship leadership and Christian education for all ages in the small mountain town of Idaho Springs, Colorado. Outreach and public relations as the "face" of Zion within the community are an important part of this calling. The pastor will also minister to congregation members as they encounter the challenges of life.
The Associate Pastor will work with the children’s, youth, and household ministry programs, while also focusing on new/younger member development, and small group ministry for all ages. In addition, the Associate Pastor will serve as a support for the Senior Pastor in worship, preaching, and pastoral care. We desire an engaging and energetic pastor who will be able to help create deeper levels of community within our congregation.
Community of Joy is a collaborative community and appreciates and supports its pastor and each other. COJ has positive momentum and a dedication to faith-building and helping others in a growing community with future economic potential. The congregation has its challenges with an aging congregation that relies on too few volunteer leaders, but believes it has an intentional plan to address its weaknesses and build on its strengths. It desires a forward-looking, dynamic Pastor to lead it into its next phase. COJ truly embraces its name as a “joyful” community.
A small and welcoming congregation in Santa Fe, New Mexico--Lutheran Church of the Servant--enjoys liturgical worship, good musicianship, and educational opportunities. ‘We are called to be faithful to Christ: To serve, rather than be served’; helping the underprivileged in our community is what we do. Situated on the fast-growing, predominantly Hispanic Southeast side of the city, we seek an ELCA pastor who will help us continue to attract local young families, and to grow in the faith.
Desert Springs Lutheran has a small but very faithful congregation. We can offer a fully furnished parsonage with utilities paid and a monthly salary. We have one Sunday service which is traditional. The area offers lakes, fishing, hiking, Gila National Forest, natural hot springs bathing and plenty of sunshine.
This congregation is a formal redevelopment, therefore they will be seeking an approved redeveloper.
We are a small ELCA congregation that believe in the service of word and Sacrament. We believe that the Grace of God welcomes all to our doors. We would like a solo full time pastor. A pastor who will support us in our missions. Who will partner with us to serve our members and community.
