Educate, Equip, Enact presented an opportunity for rostered ministers and church councils of the Rocky Mountain Synod to attend classes online or at the Lutheran Center on October 18, 2017.   Session 1: "Stewardship - Why Numbers Matter" and Session 2: "Church Financials - Accounting 101, Understanding the Technical Side of the Process". The instructor for the sessions was Bonnie L. Johnson, C.P.A., M.B.A., a Senior Lecturer at California Lutheran University and on the faculty for the Executive Skills for Pastors course taught by CLU.  She is an economist with over 25 years of financial management experience, including 7 years at the CFO level. She has worked in various business environments and industries, including financial institutions, entertainment, manufacturing, education, wholesale distribution, staffing, real estate and not-for-profit.

Over 100 people either attended or participated online in this first of its kind program in the Rocky Mountain Synod.
