Adding Images within Body Content:

Image Properties:  Once you have uploaded images to the site, depending on its application on the website page you should follow these recommendations:

  • Alternative Text provides a place for a title for the image that can be viewed as text only for ADA compliance and a title for search engines.
  • Border:  Where images have no border, i.e. a white background and need border definition, use 1 pixel.
  • HSpace/VSpace: To provide white spacing around an image H: horizontal and V: vertical, use 10 pixels.
  • Alignment: Alignment for the image can be altered to be right or left of the text based on placement of the cursor when image is inserted.
